GOD BLESS EGYPT AND THE EGYPTIANS!

I had visited Fatima Sanctuary in Portugal before. I remember that it was during the month of May when it became very busy with pilgrims fulfilling their promises. I knew that even the Pope was there before. I know its story since I was a child. It says that what is called 'Our Lady' (Jesus' Mother) appeared there to three children who were tending their flock. I do not know the veracity of this story, but it really does not matter. What I wanted to witness was the faith practice of those who go there to fulfill any promise they made whenever they asked 'Our Lady'' to intercede before Jesus who intercedes before God, as they believe, to heal themselves or one of their dear ones or to resolve any other problem. Jesus said in the Bible in the book of John chapter 14, verse 6 : "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me'. So, I wondered why people were addressing 'Our Lady' when they most needed to pray to God.

MUSLIM AND CHRISTIAN PROTESTERS JOIN HANDS FOR MASS IN CAIRO'S TAHRIR SQUARE

An Article written by Nsenga Burton on February 9, 2011

The New York Daily News is reporting that on Friday, the holy day for Islam, Christian protesters in Tahir Square joined hands to form a protective cordon around their Muslim countrymen so they could pray in safety. Sunday, the Muslims returned the favor. They surrounded Christians celebrating Mass in Cairo's central plaza, ground zero for the secular pro-democracy protests reverberating throughout the region. "In the name of Jesus and Muhammed, we unify our ranks," the Rev. Ihab al-Kharat told the crowd in his sermon, reports Helen Kennedy of the New York Daily News. "We will keep protesting until the fall of the tyranny," he said.
